WGTS 91.9 Hosts Danny Gokey Album Release Party on the Beach
(Ocean City, Md.) – Hundreds of WGTS 91.9 and 88.3 listeners gathered at the Caroline Street Stage in Ocean City, Md., to sing and dance to the music from Danny Gokey’s new album “Sound of Heaven.” The concert coincided with the album’s release on Friday, July 26.
WGTS listeners started showing up more than eight hours before the concert to save their spot on the beach in front of the stage. The station added to the fun by handing out free ice cream and engaging the audience with entertaining games.
“I saw a lot of people excited to hear the new album and singing along to songs with both new and old songs. Even if they didn’t know the songs, they walked away with smiles on their faces and ice cream in their bellies. Seeing their joy gave me joy,” said leadership development intern Qurãn Harris.
