“The Bible in Art” Presented by Life 88.5
Overland Park, KS – July 24, 2024 – The offices of Life 88.5 (KJNW/Kansas City) were turned into an art studio as the station hosted “The Bible in Art,” an exhibit featuring 14 pieces from local artist Bryce Holt’s biblical collection. The event, held in the station’s lobby and offices, drew 350 attendees.
The exhibit included representations of the four Gospels, Psalms, Revelation, Philemon and 2 Thessalonians. A large depiction of Jesus feeding the 5,000 was prominently displayed at the building’s entrance, setting the tone for the experience. The artwork was a contrast to the typical office environment.
This outreach effort was a part of Life 88.5’s commitment to spreading the Gospel through innovative means. Attendees included families, elderly, art enthusiasts, other office tenants, even a church youth group.
“Our aim was to present an environment where people could connect with Scripture in a unique way,” said Life 88.5 Station Manager Adam Hannan. “We never expected such a positive response.”
