Family Radio Names Ron Harrell Music Director
Family Radio, a non-profit ministry of Loam Media, has announced that Ron Harrell will serve the network as Music Director, effective immediately.
Harrell brings decades of experience in music programming, brand leadership, and content strategy across both ministry and major-market radio. His background includes senior programming and brand roles with WAY Media / Hope Media Group, Hubbard Broadcasting, CBS Radio, and Cumulus Media. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Branding and Storytelling at Lipscomb University in Nashville and will continue his work through Harrell Media Group, his Nashville-based consultancy.
As Music Director, Harrell will help guide the curation and stewardship of music across Family Radio and its four online channels, with an emphasis on consistency, theological integrity, and clear sonic identity across platforms.
“Ron brings a rare blend of experience, musical judgment, and ministry awareness that fits Family Radio perfectly right now,” said Doug Hannah, Senior Director of Content. “His leadership will help us elevate our sound without losing what makes this ministry distinctive.”
“Partnering with Family Radio and Loam Media in this season of service and discovery is an honor,” Harrell said. “I’m eager to help this team improve the powerful daily listener experience these brands deliver to a vast and growing audience.”
