The House FM and The Salvation Army Join Forces to Feed Families Across Oklahoma and Southern Kansas

In just three hours, The House FM rallied listeners across two states to help families in need this Thanksgiving.

During its annual Feed A Family event on Saturday, November 15, The House FM partnered with The Salvation Army to collect turkeys at 10 drop-off locations across Oklahoma and southern Kansas. From Oklahoma City to Wichita, listeners showed incredible generosity – donating a total of 693 turkeys to help local families enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.

Teams from The House FM, The Salvation Army, and hundreds of listeners came together during the 3-hour event to make a real difference. The donated turkeys will be distributed by local Salvation Army divisions to feed families throughout the holiday season.

In addition to the turkeys collected, The House FM also presented a check to The Salvation Army from online listener donations to further support their mission of providing hope and help to those in need.

The House FM CEO, Tony Weir, commented, “This event shows the heart of our listeners and the power of local radio. In just a few hours, communities across two states came together to make sure families have a reason to give thanks.”
