Houston, TX – September 4, 2024 – Hope Media Group is pleased to announce that media personality, blogger, and recording artist RaJan Monroe has joined NGEN Radio (NGENRadio.com) as a full-time host. Listeners can hear him on NGEN Radio from 12 PM to 6 PM CST, Monday through Friday, as well as on weekends.

RaJan Monroe is a dynamic creator, deeply inspired by his faith in God and his strong roots in hip-hop culture. From Des Moines, Iowa, RaJan’s career spans years of pastoring, service, and music artistry. He brings a fresh and unique perspective, always finding the silver lining and humor in everyday life. Most recently, he served as the morning show host and production director at Pulse 101.7.

“NGEN has always held a special place in my heart, and to be here is incredible because I’m a product of its core mission. I look forward to witnessing and contributing to what God is building for His Kingdom,” said Monroe. “The New International Version of Proverbs 3:5-6 says, ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.’ This scripture guides me daily. I’m ready to take this journey step by step. Let’s go!”

In addition to his radio work, RaJan is also a talented rapper and songwriter. Known for his seamless blend of captivating vocals with hip-hop beats, his music is influenced by legends such as Musiq Soulchild, Donnell Jones, and Case. RaJan’s achievements include reaching #5 on the HOT CHR Charts with his song “Better.”

“I am thrilled that RaJan is joining the NGEN team,” said Tate Luck, Director of Audio Streaming at Hope Media Group. “His unique ability to connect with today’s generation presents a tremendous opportunity for us to deepen our engagement with and grow the NGEN audience.”

RaJan, along with his wife and five children, has relocated to Houston, Texas, for this exciting opportunity. He describes their home as “the definition of a loud house,” filled with love, music, and dance.
