Orphans Become Thriving Kids Thanks to Local Support

Children in impoverished countries are often the most vulnerable population. Before children can truly thrive, first they need the basic necessities of life. Nutritious food, clean water, medical care, and shelter are the basic needs these kids lack. Once those needs are met, children move from surviving to thriving through education, counseling, and a supportive social environment.

On Tuesday, June 25th and Wednesday morning, June 26th, Cross International presented an opportunity for The Bridge listeners to rescue orphans in the countries of Haiti, Guatemala and Nicaragua.

As of June 27th, The Bridge listening family have now rescued 675 critical need children in those three countries. Because of the generosity of The Bridge listening family these children will now become “thriving kids” and will receive food for the next year, clean water, Christian education and receive other life-saving resources. Again, Cross International thanks listeners for their generosity!

Thank you for your sacrificial giving, your prayerful support and for your partnership with Cross International and The Bridge on behalf of “the least of these.”

Cross International’s Thriving Kids initiative supports ministries that provide children with the essentials they need to live and the support they need to thrive. The organization reaches orphans in deepest need around the world. Through longstanding partnerships with local Christian ministries, Cross International empowers generous believers who give financial and prayer support to strategically advance the gospel and bring transformative change.
