KCBI Grants FINAL 2025 Christmas WISH
The blessings continue through this special seasonal outreach! All across Texas, many people carry heavy burdens – grief, loss, financial strain, housing insecurity, and the quiet ache of trying to hold everything together. Yet, something beautiful is unfolding behind the scenes across North and Central Texas!
KCBI is honored to be the new home of Christmas WISH. Hosted by Bonnie Curry, formerly of KLTY, this heartfelt series has highlighted four Texas families whose stories reflect the hope of the season as we celebrate Christmas.
This week, listeners will meet Yurney and her son, who have been walking through real challenges with deep faith. They have been reminded that they are seen, they are loved, and they are not alone.
KCBI ministry partner The Storehouse CC nominated Yurney Lopez, a single mom, for Christmas WISH. Yurney, has had to miss many ESL classes recently as she juggles jobs to make ends meet. She and her son have been living in the family room of an apartment with several others, sleeping on a couch, because it is all she can afford. So Christmas WISH has stepped in. Her journey unfolds on air Monday, Dec. 22 and will through Friday, Dec. 26 at 6:00am, 8:00am, 3:00pm and 5pm.
Listeners are invited to tune in every day as the story unfolds and discover how the smallest glimpse of light can change everything.
90.9 KCBI, Dallas, is one of the nation’s most-listened-to Christian radio stations, known for Encouraging Music … Words of Hope. 92.9 KCBI extends that same message across Central Texas.
