Family Life Radio Sends Listeners to Nashville
Several Family Life Radio (FLR) listeners were treated to a special backyard concert experience in Nashville. They won their trip as part of FLR’s fifth annual Summer Backyard Concert contest.
The day started with MercyMe giving the contest winners a personal tour of their cabin followed by a pizza party with Patrick Mayberry. The evening rounded out a private, acoustic concert with Christian recording artists Hope Darst, Austin French, Colton Dixon, Jordan St. Cyr and Cody Carnes.
“It’s incredible to provide an opportunity for our listeners to connect with the artists behind their favorite songs that bring them hope through the highs and lows of life,” said Mike Kankelfritz, Chief Broadcast Engagement Officer for FLR.
In years past, the Summer Backyard Concert contest winners have had private concerts in their backyards and even through zoom during the pandemic. “With the collaboration of the artists and their labels, FLR was able to deliver an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind, intimate occasion for our listeners,” said Brian Neuwirth, National Events and Promotions Director.
FLR worked with Fair Trade Services, BEC Recordings, Capitol-CMG and Centricity Music who helped make the contest and event experience a success.
