Family Life Radio Announces Sam Kelly as New Afternoon Show Host
Family Life Radio (FLR) is pleased to announce Sam Kelly as their new afternoon show host.
Samantha brings over two decades of experience in Christian radio, where her warm, relatable style has inspired and uplifted listeners across the country. Her passion for affirming faith, inspiring hope and encouraging intentional living aligns seamlessly with FLR’s mission to ignite personal transformation in Christ. She most recently worked as PM drive host at KCMS Seattle, as well as co-hosting the Scott and Sam Show Morning Drive on KCMS and KFSH Los Angeles.
“I am beyond excited to have Sam join an already stellar lineup of personalities on Family Life Radio. Not only is she one of the top air talents in the industry, but she is also fueled by the passion for sharing the love of Jesus,” said Mike Kankelfritz, FLR’s Chief Broadcast Engagement Officer.
“There are only a select few on-air talents who can connect with listeners on the level that Sam does. We are fortunate to already have some incredible voices on our team, and I am thrilled that Sam has chosen to join Family Life Radio and Intentional Life Media as we continue to grow this ministry in the afternoons,” said Chuck Tyler, Program Director for FLR.
Sam said God has been moving her to go deeper in sharing Jesus and storytelling. “When Chuck Tyler at Family Life Radio called, and we started talking about good radio, growing the Kingdom and the joy of stories well-told, I was so energized. The chance to work with this team and for this ministry is truly an answer to prayer. I feel like a little kid right now—I’m so excited and can’t wait to see what God does next.”
FLR would like to thank Ceci LaBarge for graciously stepping in and hosting the afternoon show over the past few months. Her dedication and service have been a blessing to both the team and our listeners during this transitional period.
Sam’s official start date will be Monday, February 3, 2025.
