Dr. Bobby Wood Named Chief of Staff at EMF

Educational Media Foundation (EMF), the parent organization of leading Christian radio networks K-LOVE and Air1, announces Bobby Wood as the new Chief of Staff for the Ministry. This position will serve on the non-profit’s Ministry Leadership Team.

Wood has served in the business area of higher education for more than 25 years and is dedicated to helping organizations focus on creating value in their services or products. Most recently, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Biblical Ministries Worldwide, where he recruited missionaries and worked with the mission’s persecuted church network of church planters by improving the sustainability of their growth through business and missions. Also, Wood has led companies as Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer in a variety of business cultures.

In his new role, Wood will serve as a critical link and advisor to the CEO, playing a significant role in strategic initiatives. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership-Higher Education Administration from Clemson University. He also has a Master of Science degree in Biblical Counseling and a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management, both from Bob Jones University.

“We are honored to have Bobby join our Ministry,” says Tom Stultz, EMF CEO. “His deep faith, love of family and commitment to excellence will drive our mission of inspiring people to move closer to Jesus, to new heights.”

Wood says growing up the Bible was the center of his home. His father, who was a ministry leader, and his mother, instilled in him a love for the Lord at an early age. As an adult, Christ has been the center of his home with his wife Robin and their now three grown children.
