Doug Hannah Selected As Afternoon Host for the Family Radio Network
Doug Hannah has been selected as the new afternoon host for the Family Radio Network of Family Stations, Inc.
Doug brings over 40 years of Christian radio talent and experience to the 70+ station Family Radio airwaves, replacing Randy Zachary, who passed away suddenly this past January.
“We’re excited to have Doug on board. Our listeners are already familiar with his encouraging and calming voice. He will continue as our male imaging voice and will be an integral part of our on-air support drives,” commented Vance Dillard, Family Stations’ Senior Director of Programming. “I’ve known Doug for nearly 20 years here in Nashville. We have worked together on many initiatives. Doug is a natural for Family Radio as we continue to grow our audience through our multi-station network and our digital stream. His story telling and spiritual content are in sync with the new and improved sound of Family Radio. We understand that we will be sharing his talents with KCBI and Christian FM. Doug is used to serving multi-Christian entities. We are all serving the same Kingdom.”
Doug shares his thoughts on this new assignment, “In bold letters, literally on the wall at the Family Radio studios, is Romans 10:17: So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the Word of God. God — The Holy Spirit — promises to be at work whenever His word is spoken. Family Radio takes this seriously, and everything they do goes beyond mere entertainment. It is why I am so glad to co-labor with them. I cannot wait. For me, this is a calling.”
You can hear Doug on Family Radio from 2-6pm EDT/1-5pm PDT beginning Monday, May 1st.
