Christian Music Shines at the 68th Grammy Awards
The 68th Annual Grammy Awards highlighted the continued impact of faith-based music, with Contemporary Christian and Gospel artists earning recognition on one of music’s biggest stages.
Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll won Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Hard Fought Hallelujah.” At the same time, Israel & New Breed received Best Contemporary Christian Music Album honors for Coritos, Vol. 1.
In the Gospel categories, CeCe Winans and Shirley Caesar were awarded Best Gospel Performance/Song for “Come Jesus Come.” Darrel Walls and PJ Morton earned Best Gospel Album for Heart of Mine, and The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir took home Best Roots Gospel Album for I Will Not Be Moved (Live).
