Broc Hampsmire Named Executive Director of WGCA/The Mix

WGCA/Quincy (The Mix) has announced the appointment of Broc Hampsmire as its new Executive Director.

Hampsmire has been part of the WGCA team since 2022, serving in the underwriting department. He also brings eight years of experience as an on-air talent at the station.

“I’m blessed and honored to be the executive director of this radio station and ministry that has meant so much to so many people in the Tri-States and to me personally,” Hampsmire said. “We’re blessed to have a great staff and on-air personalities who are all local and invested. My goal each day moving forward is to work with them to continue WGCA’s long-standing mission of communicating the gospel of Jesus Christ and to uplift and encourage our listeners with positive hits.”

The leadership transition follows the tenure of longtime Executive Director Bob Daly, who will remain with WGCA on a part-time basis as underwriting director.

“WGCA has been providing encouragement and positive hits to the Tri-States for 37 years,” Daly said. “I have enjoyed my time as WGCA’s executive director. With his years of radio experience and heart for the Lord, this ministry is in great hands with Broc, and I’m excited to see what he’s going to do in the coming years.”

WGCA has been a staple in the Tri-State area for nearly four decades, continuing its mission to spread positivity and faith through contemporary Christian music and programming.
