More Than 1,000 Attend WCQR Christmas Outreach

WCQR hosted a free, community Christmas event, “Jingle & Mingle,” on Friday evening, December 8th, from 5-8 pm in Downtown Johnson City.

More than 1,000 people attended the event, including participation by three local churches providing hot cocoa, water, cookies, and games. WCQR business partner Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union offered glow-in-the-dark temporary Christmas tattoos and did Polaroid instant photos for children. WCQR handed out finger lights ChapStick and had a ticket giveaway for an upcoming concert.
