89.5 KTSY Sponsors Parktacular at Expo Idaho

(Garden City, ID) – Over 2,000 people from Southwest Idaho gathered recently for one of the biggest community parties of the year. 89.5 KTSY welcomed everyone to Parktacular HOPEfest 2023, an annual event that’s been going on for over 20 years. This free community event occurred on Sunday, June 11th, at Expo Idaho in Garden City. Christian music fans brought their lawn chairs and enjoyed music from national artists Josh Wilson, Dan Bremnes, and Cochren and Co. on the main stage. Other regional and local acts included Nelson at the Helm, Breanna Grace, Scott Riggan, Kurtis Hoppie, and Refresh Worship.

“There’s a lot of talk about our world being divided, there’s a lot of concern about the economy and politics. Parktacular HopeFest proves that we are more united than it appears,” said KTSY General Manager Brian Yeager. “There are a lot of people who believe in hope, who believe there is more that unites us than divides us, and Parktacular: HopeFest follows what KTSY believes so deeply in – we can choose hope!”

In addition to music, there was plenty for the kids including bounces houses, a photo booth, kids art tent, and more. Everyone enjoyed over 40 booths from local merchants and craftsmen and a food truck row. The event was free thanks to the generous sponsorship of “Diamond Heating and Cooling.”

KTSY is planning another Parktacular HopeFest in Twin Falls, Idaho, on July 16. Ryan Stevenson is the headliner. There are more details on the KTSY website at www.ktsy.org.
