What New Pew Data Reveals About the Ongoing Reach of Christian Radio

A new Pew Research study highlights just how widespread faith-based radio remains across the U.S., with more than 4,000 religious stations now making up roughly a quarter of all AM/FM outlets and reaching nearly 98% of Americans. The overwhelming majority (63%) of these are Christian stations.

For ministries and communicators, it’s a powerful reminder: radio is still one of the most accessible and far-reaching ways to share the Gospel and connect with communities at scale.
