WGTS 91.9 Hosts Coffee Connection

(Washington, D.C.) – WGTS 91.9 always looks for new ways to go deeper with listeners. That’s why morning show co-host Summer Shepherd has launched the WGTS Coffee Connection. It’s a monthly event at coffee shops around Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Women who listen to the station are invited to show up for a cup of coffee, a devotional thought, and a chance to make new friends.

“In developing the Coffee Connection, I expected it would be a way to reach and minister to our listeners,” says Shepherd. “None of us expected just how much it would minister to us. After two hours spent praying, laughing, crying, and caffeinating, there is a fullness of spirit that then fuels our shows and reminds us why we do what we do on air every day.”
