WBCL Welcomes Todd Amlin of Amlin Media Group as Music Director
The WBCL Radio Network in Ft. Wayne, Indiana has hired Todd Amlin of Amlin Media Group to serve as its new Music Director and lead WBCL’s music team in research and music selection.
Todd’s career has spanned 30 years in the Christian Music Industry from writing, recording, and touring to concert promoting, with the last almost 10 years being in radio. In 2016 he joined WCVO, and in 2017 became part of the Executive Leadership Team as Chief Creative Officer. In 2023 Todd started Amlin Media Group. He stayed on as Music Director for The River, but began working with other stations as well, and became a music consultant for WBCL in 2024.
Todd says, “I have always said that I process life through song lyrics and melodies, so to be able to lead the music team at WBCL is such an honor. Working with Scott for the last year has been such a joy. He’s got such a wealth of knowledge and experience and yet is one of the most humble people you’ll ever meet. I’m really excited about this new chapter. WBCL has such a rich history and values the stuff that really matters, like being present in the community. I just love the team there and can’t wait to get rolling!”
Todd will replace Scott Tsuleff who has served in that role for WBCL for 40 years. Scott will remain Program Director at the station. This role change will be effective as of March 1st.
Scott says, “It’s been a privilege and joy to have worked with the music for so many years and I’m thrilled to hand the baton to Todd with his passion for music, knowledge of the industry, and many close relationships. WBCL’s future is in good hands.”
