Michael Tedesco Joins Moody Radio as Community Impact Director

Moody Radio announced today that industry veteran Michael Tedesco has joined the staff of Moody Radio as a Community Impact Director. Based in Cleveland, he will serve all of northeast Ohio.

Launched in June 2025, Moody Radio’s Community Impact Directors are strategic roles that create and cultivate relationships with listeners as well as local churches and ministries in key regions where owned and operated station signals are heard.

“Community Impact Directors serve a vital role for us at Moody Radio, as they are connecting listeners with all of our terrestrial and digital offerings in an effort to help them take their next steps in their walk with Jesus Christ,” said Jamin Baxter, director of ministry growth for Moody Global Media. “Having a local presence by building personal relationships with listeners and our partnering ministries and churches remains a core commitment of Moody Radio.”

Tedesco is no stranger to Christian radio, with a career spanning more than 25 years. Previous to Moody Radio, he served with Hope Media Group as vice president of events from 2024 – 2025. He also served as their vice president of business relations, from 2023 – 2024.

“I have tremendous appreciation for Moody Global Media,” said Tedesco who has also held leadership positions at several radio stations as well as led business development and promotions for K-LOVE. “I have had the privilege of interacting with the team as a consultant and am looking forward to joining them full-time. Joining Moody allows me the opportunity to amplify and share the hope of Jesus to an entire community!”

Tedesco joins a team of six Community Impact Directors already serving Moody Radio’s core regions across the U.S., including:

  • Jesse Carroccio – South Florida
  • Jason Crosby – Central Indiana
  • Brent Manion – Southeast Tennessee
  • Seth Mela – Central Florida
  • Dodd Morris – West Michigan
  • Michael Tedesco – Northeast Ohio

In addition to strategic involvement in various promotional events and other activities such as concerts and conferences, Moody Radio’s Community Impact Directors are focused on making an impact through participation in as well as leading various local ministry outreaches. Joining the Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls missions trip, attending the four-day Unity Christian Music Festival in Michigan, and involvement in the “Not Too Old Conference” are just a few examples.

“I am incredibly excited to be working with Michael again,” added Baxter. “It is because of him that I got my first job in radio at the age of 28. Ask anyone in my area at Moody and they will attest to the fact that I frequently say, ‘My old boss Michael Tedesco used to say . . . I have learned lessons from Michael that have made me a better person spiritually, as well as a better dad, husband, leader and man. He is a stellar edition to an already incredible lineup of professionals at Moody Global Media.”

Listeners can learn about various activities as well as opportunities to connect with their Community Impact Director by signing up for the “Uplift” enewsletter at www.moodyradio.org, as well as follow on Facebook and Instagram. Each station is also featuring local spot breaks every hour and Community Impact Directors have a 30-second spot that airs 10 times per day, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Moody Radio is also currently developing additional channels of communications with listeners in their area, such as text alerts.
