K-LOVE OnDemand’s First Original Short Film Releases November 25

K-LOVE OnDemand, the free Christian video streaming service from Educational Media Foundation (parent ministry of K-LOVE and Air1 Radio), is excited to announce the release of its first original short film, “Virgin Birth,” coming to the platform on November 25, 2025, just in time for the Christmas season.

“Virgin Birth” goes beyond a simple retelling of the Christmas story by portraying Mary’s decision with raw, relatable humanity. The film serves as an invitation for viewers to connect with Mary’s journey and embrace the profound reward found in surrendering to God’s plan. At 35 minutes, this is K-LOVE’s first venture into original short films.

“As a Christian media ministry, we are always looking for new ways to share the story of our Savior,” said Tom Stultz, K-LOVE Chief Executive Officer. “Our decision to create “Virgin Birth” was driven by a single mission: to inspire people to move closer to Jesus. We believe this film will do that, and we are thankful to have such talented team members who can write, produce, and distribute high-quality content in compelling ways.”

“Virgin Birth” was written and directed by Dove Award-winning Director Daric Gates and produced by Shadow Render Films. Viewers may see a familiar face, Christian recording artist Terrian, who appears as King Herod’s wife. The film was produced on location in Texas. “This story is told through Mary’s eyes,” says K-LOVE OnDemand Director Daric Gates. “Every frame, every movement, and every video cut reflects what she is feeling in that moment.”

You can watch “Virgin Birth” online at https://watch.klove.com/ or on the K-LOVE OnDemand streaming app beginning November 25.
