Intentional Life Media Welcomes John Brock to the Team
TUCSON, AZ (May 17, 2024) — Intentional Life Media (ILM) is pleased to announce the hiring of John Brock, joining the ministry’s marketing and development department. ILM oversees the ministries of Family Life Radio (FLR) and Intentional Living (IL).
Known as “Coach,” John has 47 years of experience in both Christian and mainstream radio and TV. His fundraising career began in 1984, having served numerous Christian radio stations and other nonprofit ministries worldwide, raising over 500 million dollars throughout his career.
John’s role with ILM will involve guiding both internal teams and external agencies in on-air fundraising, messaging, planning, and strategy. With his expertise and dedication, he will spearhead the crafting of comprehensive strategies across all of ILM ministries, ensuring that our mission to share the message of hope in Christ reaches new heights and people.
“John brings with him a heartfelt passion for storytelling, particularly in conveying the profound impact of Jesus to our audiences. We’re confident that his leadership will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission and connecting with our community on a deeper level,” said Taylor Anderson, Executive Director of Marketing.
John explained how FLR has been an important part of his spiritual life since he became a follower of Jesus back in 1977. “It was the first Christian radio station I listened to growing up and later was instrumental in bringing me back to God after a long prodigal journey. What an honor it is to help carry on the 58-year legacy of FLR.” He and his wife Heidi have supported FLR prayerfully and financially for years and have had a front row seat to see the impact FLR has had on lives for the Kingdom.
John and Heidi will relocate from their Michigan home (along with their dog Miggy) to the ILM headquarters in Tucson, AZ. His official start date is August 2024.
