CURE International Children’s Hospitals, Moody Radio, and mission:activate Celebrate Over 700 Life-Changing Surgeries Funded
CURE International, Moody Radio and mission:activate teamed up for a national fundraising campaign, which funded over 700 life-changing surgeries for children living with treatable disabilities. Each surgery costs approximately $1,500 – unlocking the opportunity for a child to walk, run, attend school, participate fully in community life, and live with dignity and hope. These surgeries will not only transform physical futures, but they will open spiritual doors as well.
Every child and every family who enters a CURE International Children’s Hospital hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a compassionate, personal environment. Many families make decisions for Christ during their care journey.
“Working with the Moody folks was fantastic. The stories from CURE make compelling radio, putting it mildly. So thankful we got to do this together!” said Brant Hansen, CURE spokesperson. “These surgeries will change the lives of children forever, and we are deeply grateful.”
mission:activate partnered with CURE and Moody Radio to support the strategy, messaging and broadcast fundraising execution behind this effort.
“Seeing the Body of Christ move together at a scale like this is powerful,” said Todd Chatman, CEO & Founder of mission:activate. “Hundreds of children and families will experience healing and hear about the hope of Jesus thanks to more than 2,400 people who gave so generously.”
“Our amazing audience loves to partner with organizations that share the Gospel and minister in impactful ways to those in need around the world,” said Wes Ward, Vice President and Head of Moody Global Media – the parent ministry to Moody Radio. “CURE is absolutely one of those organizations, and we are grateful to our listeners who responded to the opportunity! Praise the Lord, more than 700 children now have access to surgeries they could never afford, and that is certainly something we celebrate together!”
