Cromwell Media Launching Christian AC “105.7 The Bridge” in Owensboro
Cromwell Media will launch Christian AC “105.7 The Bridge” on August 1, replacing the Classic Rock format on WCJZ/Cannelton, IN–Owensboro, KY.
The new station is being positioned as a locally focused ministry featuring faith-based music, regional programming, and partnerships with churches, ministries, and community organizations. Leading up to the launch, beginning July 24, listeners will hear messages from local pastors and community leaders introducing the vision behind the new station.
Cromwell Media’s Dan Bartlett says, “The Bridge has been met with a lot of excitement in the community, and we are excited to offer it as a bridge to the community that offers positive, uplifting Christian music with a local feel to it,” Bartlett said. “That is our biggest thing: the local feel, highlighting the local churches and highlighting the local Christian-led businesses.”
As part of the transition, the Classic Rock format will move to three FM translators serving the Owensboro and Tell City areas.
