Beth Fritzeen Joins Donor Development at The Bridge

Beth Fritzeen, a former business owner, brings her entrepreneurial spirit and heart for hospitality as a perfect addition to The Bridge development team. She is a graduate of Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.

The Bridge, a Delmarva-based radio station serving Delaware, Maryland, the Eastern Shore of Virginia, and South Jersey, values donor relationships and Beth Fritzeen will strengthen those connections as Donor Development Specialist.

In her role, Fritzeen partners with Alison Kristunas, the Director of Donor Development, to match resources with ministry opportunities through The Bridge broadcast and community outreach initiatives. In addition to broadcasts and podcasts, The Bridge also serves Delmarva, South Jersey and beyond with a variety of projects. Most recently the stations listeners helped provide clean water and meals to over 1,300 children in Uganda, Zambia and Malawi. The Bridge has also adopted a village in the Dominican Republic known as La Union Abajo, and regularly provides funding to help residents, including building a bakery and sewing center to provide a skill and income to young women.

Locally The Bridge coordinates Hands & Feet, a day of service to other non-profit organizations with several hundred volunteers, and The Bridge helps connect and strengthen the community through special events such as concerts, seminars, food distributions, the Drive Thru Connection, online Prayer Works, and much more.

The Bridge consists of four FM radio stations reaching a population of over 1.5 million people in four states, plus a growing audience via its app and web stream. The stations include 88.7 FM, WKNZ-Harrington, Dover, DE; 92.5 FM, WNKZ-Pocomoke City, Salisbury, MD; 89.3 FM, Bridgeton, Vineland, NJ; and 105.5 FM, Cape May Courthouse, Ocean City, NJ.  The stations exist to be “a voice in the community, connecting people to Jesus and each other, and strengthening their lives.”

The Bridge of Hope is a 501c3 non-profit organization. The Bridge studios and offices are located in Milford, DE. Learn more about The Bridge at www.wearethebridge.org.
