88.3 Life FM Uses Faux “Political” Signs to Catch Attention

With the election just a few days away, 88.3 Life FM signs started popping up all across their listening area. Designed to look like political signs, they are actually signs pointing to hope, the station, and the drive-time shows.

Program Director Matt Pelishek said “In a time where everyone seems to be on edge and quick to anger, we wanted these signs to make people do a double take, and put some smiles on their faces.”

The three signs include the Life FM Choose Hope 24 sign, The Afternoon Joy Ride sign with the slogan “Their kazoos bring joy,” and the morning show sign for Jon Engen with the slogan “corndogs for everyone.” The last two signs reflect a fun and unique aspect of the respective shows.

The signs are available to listeners direct from the station, and are seen on front lawns and street corners across Bakersfield. There are also a few large banners with the same images at busy intersections.
