103.7 The Connection’s Caring Hearts Project Spreads Love to Local Veterans
103.7 The Connection is proud to announce the success of its second annual Caring Hearts Project, an initiative designed to share love and encouragement within the local community. This year’s focus was on honoring and uplifting local Veterans, with the station and its listeners coming together to create and distribute an incredible 575 valentines.
The heartfelt messages were collected and presented to the local American Legion, which facilitated the distribution of the valentines to Veterans throughout the Dickinson area. This effort was made possible thanks to the generosity of the community, whose participation helped ensure that Veterans felt appreciated and recognized for their service.
“This initiative is truly a testament to the compassion of our listeners and the heart of this community,” said Heidi Larson, General Manager of 103.7 The Connection. “Our goal with the Caring Hearts Project is to show love to a specific group in our community, and this year, we were honored to extend that to the Veterans who have given so much for our country. We can show love because Christ loved us first.”
The Caring Hearts Project continues to grow as a meaningful way for the community to come together in service and kindness. 103.7 The Connection looks forward to expanding the initiative in the years to come and finding new ways to uplift and support members of our community.
