103.7 The Connection’s Caring Hearts Project Spreads Love to Local First Responders
103.7 The Connection is proud to announce the success of its third annual Caring Hearts Project, an initiative designed to share love and encouragement within the local community. This year’s focus was on honoring and encouraging local First Responders, with the station and its listeners coming together to create and distribute over 300 valentines.
This year, a group of students from Dickinson’s Hope Christian Academy assisted The Connection with the logistics and distribution of the Caring Hearts Project. Valentines were distributed to first responders in Dickinson, Stark County, and surrounding communities.
“This initiative is truly a testament to the compassion of our listeners and the heart of this community,” said Heidi Larson, General Manager of 103.7 The Connection. “Our goal with the Caring Hearts Project is to show love to a specific group in our community, and this year, we were blessed to show appreciation to brave individuals – law enforcement, fire department, and EMS professionals. We can show love because Christ loved us first.”
The Caring Hearts Project continues to grow as a meaningful way for the community to come together in service and kindness. 103.7 The Connection looks forward to expanding the initiative in the years to come and finding new ways to uplift and support members of our community.
