In Memory of Collin Lambert
Collin G. Lambert, a longtime Christian radio leader, broadcaster, and founder of Lambert Creative Media, passed away Thursday, August 6.
Lambert spent nearly 46 years in media, including more than 15 years with Moody Radio. He served in several roles, beginning in promotions and eventually becoming vice president in 2010. After leaving Moody Radio in 2018, Lambert returned to his hometown of Austin, Texas, where he continued serving Christian ministries through Lambert Creative Media.
Lambert also hosted and produced Missions Today, served on the Board of Directors of the National Religious Broadcasters, and continued his work as an on-air broadcaster.
Wes Ward, vice president and head of Moody Global Media, remembered Lambert as a faithful servant whose life and ministry left a lasting impact:
“Our friend, brother in Christ, and former vice president of Moody Radio, Collin Lambert, made his entry into everlasting rest and peace with God. He now sees his Lord Jesus face-to-face. He is well loved, fought his illness well, and lived his life valiantly. Collin leaves an incredible legacy of faithfulness, an unwavering commitment to using radio to reach the world with the gospel, and a deep devotion to his family. He spoke regularly about the gospel and helping people take their next steps with Jesus Christ and we will continue in that same spirit and passion. I ask that you join us in thanking the Lord for our friend, his legacy and the impact he made. Continue to pray for his wife, Patti, and precious family as they walk through this season of grieving with their hope anchored in Jesus Christ.”
Please join us in praying for his wife, Patti, and their three children.
