Hope Media Group Names Nick Skytland Chief Impact Officer

Hope Media Group, the ministry behind KSBJ, WayFM, Vida Unida, Worship 24/7, and Hope Nation, announced today that Nicholas “Nick” Skytland has been named Chief Impact Officer, a newly created executive leadership role designed to accelerate the ministry’s mission reach across platforms. Skytland will begin his role on August 17.

As a member of Hope Media Group’s Executive Leadership Team, Skytland will lead an integrated content, technology, and marketing strategy designed to strengthen engagement and steward the full audience experience. The role will help translate Hope Media Group’s mission into compelling content, scalable platforms, and meaningful connections.

“The addition of Nick in this key leadership role accelerates our vision for innovation and positions us well to further develop smart ways to reach more people for our mission,” said Joe Paulo, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hope Media Group. “I love his heart and passion for why we exist, and I know his visionary leadership will only make us stronger. Like the rest of our team, he wants to see more people love Jesus, serve others, and spread Hope.”

Skytland joins Hope Media Group with over 25 years of experience driving strategy, technology, and audience engagement. Most recently, as Vice President of AI at Gloo, he directed product development, research, and platform strategy. He previously held senior executive positions at NASA, where he led early-stage technology development, drove organizational transformation, and pioneered business development, strategic partnerships, and innovation initiatives.

“I am honored to join Hope Media Group and contribute to a mission with a powerful legacy and an exciting future,” said Skytland. “The opportunity to help reach and form people at scale is deeply compelling to me. Throughout my career, I have been drawn to work that brings vision, technology, strategy, and people together in service of something greater. I am excited to help Hope Media Group expand the ways media and innovation encourage people to deepen their faith and experience the hope of Jesus.”

With the addition of Skytland, Hope Media Group is strengthening its ability to serve audiences across an increasingly connected and complex media landscape, creating new pathways for people to experience hope, engage their faith, and connect with life-giving content and community.
