FLR Listeners Donate 1000s of Baby Items Helping Moms in Need
Family Life Radio (FLR) listeners rallied together this summer for the annual Ultimate Baby Shower (UBS), donating over 33,000 baby items to support families facing unexpected pregnancies.
From diapers and wipes to bottles, car seats and clothing, the donated items will be distributed through local pregnancy resource centers across the country. These centers provide free ultrasounds, parenting classes, baby supplies, food and other vital services to women and families in need.
This year’s UBS campaign included baby shower events, such as BBQs, and more than 100 drop-off sites hosted in partnership with churches, businesses and local organizations.
Pregnancy centers from coast-to-coast shared stories of the families they serve. One young woman, “Sarah,” came to a pregnancy resource center scared and unsure of what to do next. After receiving compassionate care, prayer and practical support, Sarah chose to move forward with her pregnancy. Today, she and her six-month-old baby girl are thriving.
Stories like Sarah’s are why the Ultimate Baby Shower matters. Through local pregnancy resource centers, families receive practical help, hope and the love of Jesus during some of life’s most difficult moments.
