KCBI Is the New Home of Christmas WISH
All across Texas, many people carry heavy burdens – grief, loss, financial strain, housing insecurity and the quiet ache of trying to hold everything together. Yet, by God’s grace, something beautiful is unfolding behind the scenes across North and Central Texas! KCBI is honored to be the new home of Christmas WISH. Hosted by Bonnie Curry, formerly of KLTY, this heartfelt series highlights four Texas families whose stories reflect the hope of the season as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.
Each week, listeners will meet a new family walking through real challenges with deep faith. And this Christmas, each family will experience something unexpected – a reminder that God sees them, God loves them, and they are not alone.
The first story features DeeAn Thompson, a widowed mother of four adopted children identified by KCBI Ministry Partner Buckner Children and Family Services. DeeAn’s journey will unfold on air beginning Black Friday, Nov. 28 and will continue the following Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 1 and 2, at 6:00am, 8:00am, 3:00pm and 5pm. It is shared here: 1. Listeners are invited to tune in each day as each story unfolds and discover how the smallest glimpse of light can change everything.
90.9 KCBI, Dallas, is one of the nation’s most-listened-to Christian radio stations, known for Encouraging Music … Words of Hope. 92.9 KCBI extends that same message across Central Texas.
