WGTS 91.9 Welcomes Sold-Out MercyMe Show

(Washington, D.C.) – Over 6,000 WGTS 91.9 listeners packed into EagleBank Arena for the final date on the MercyMe “Always Only Jesus” tour. Listeners gave a warm welcome to the Newsboys and David Leonard, too.

Newsboys lead singer Michael Tait said, “It’s good to be home, but I’m sad too because it’s the last night of the tour.”

“It was an exciting night for everyone there. You could feel the energy through the music,” said WGTS Morning Show Host and Director of Marketing Jerry Woods. “We knew this -would be a big night when it sold out almost three months in advance.”
