“Shout-out to Bob Thornton (Sr VP of Programming at Stephens Media Group) for his years of contribution to our industry. Bob doesn’t get out much anymore but he was one of the first people I met when I entered the industry. Between informal group chats during GMA week in Nashville to starting the PD Forum to writing imaging that inspired me dig deeper and more creatively when writing imaging (if you “borrowed” imaging ideas from me during my early years, chances are I “borrowed” it from Bob first). Bob has made me a better programmer without even knowing it. Not to mention developing the music research, website and app development companies used by many of us. Bob is sneakily influential. Appreciate you Bob!”
