WGTS 91.9 Partners with Pastor Mark Batterson for Easter Video Series

(Rockville, Md.) – WGTS 91.9 has teamed up with National Community Church Pastor Mark Batterson to invite listeners to experience Jesus anew this Easter. The station produced an eight-part video series with Batterson entitled “Road to Resurrection.” Listeners sign up by texting the word “Easter” to the WGTS studio line at 800-700-1094. Each day of Holy Week, through Resurrection Sunday, listeners will receive a video from Pastor Batterson describing the significance of that day and what Jesus was experiencing.

“For many people, even Christians, Easter is just a day for a good meal and maybe an Easter egg hunt,” says WGTS director of videography Victor Muzica. “We wanted to invite listeners to hear the resurrection story with a fresh perspective, and to reconsider the gift that Jesus offers all of us. Even people who have believed most of their lives can use a reminder of the power of the Easter story.”
