WGTS 91.9 Announces Summer Shepherd Moving to Afternoons
WGTS 91.9 is pleased to announce that morning drive co-host Summer Shepherd is moving to host the afternoon drive.
Shepherd has nearly 15 years of radio experience. She has spent the past three years co-hosting mornings with host Jerry Woods across the Washington, D.C. Metro region.
“For a decade, afternoons were my home at a variety of stations. I’m excited to revisit that slot and craft something fresh that connects with this amazing community of listeners, reminding them that they’re loved and not alone. I also look forward to sleeping in a bit. Not gonna lie,” said Shepherd.
WGTS program director Brennan Wimbish shared, “Summer has a unique ability to connect with listeners in a meaningful, faith-filled way. I’m excited to see her bring that same encouragement and presence to our afternoon drive listeners.”
