HIS Radio is Building For the Future

HIS Radio, a part of the Radio Training group of stations, has officially broken ground on its new home! HIS Radio began as a nonprofit radio ministry, in 1983, in a 1,700 square foot house, had an expansion in 1993 and will now move into a new broadcast hub that includes an 8,700 square foot building with broadcast facilities serving 9 additional markets, in the Carolinas and Georgia, served by His Radio.

According to Radio Training Network President, Jim Campbell “I’ll never forget the work of former and current staff who have worked so hard to build this ministry. We are Celebrating the Past and Building for the Future to reach the next generation and introduce them to Jesus. We believe in Proverbs 16:3…Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. His Radio is all about partnerships and being a part of the communities, we serve.”

While the original building served us well, it needed constant repair – from water damage, mold, and asbestos and its demolition makes room for HIS Radio’s new state of the art facilities.Local architect Bob Cashion has designed new studios that fit the future needs and vision for years to come. HIS Radio has also teamed up with J. Davis Construction to bring this building to life and ready for ministry.
