Brooklyn Belk Named General Counsel At Educational Media Foundation

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Educational Media Foundation (EMF), the parent organization of leading Christian radio networks K-LOVE and Air1, announced today that it has added Brooklyn Belk to its Ministry Leadership Team as General Counsel for the Ministry.

Belk has nearly 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. She has served as a federal prosecutor, employment lawyer, in-house counsel, law firm partner and professor. Most recently she was the Senior Employment Corporate Counsel at Ing ram Content Group LLC, where she managed global employment and labor matters s as the sole attorney responsible for those investigations and litigation in the U.S., Canada, UK and Australia. She is also an adjunct professor of law at Vanderbilt University Law School.

She earned her law degree at the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, Tenn. She also earned her Master of Arts from East Tennessee State University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Emory and Henry University, where she is serving her second term as a university trustee. She is a member of both the Tennessee and Georgia Bar.

Belk is passionate about serving the community through dedicated volunteer work. She has served in a variety of ways including teaching English as a second language in the United States and Brazil and mentoring recent graduates. She has also worked to establish and endow scholarships to help students in need gain access to higher education.
