Family Life Radio Announces Chuck Tyler as Incoming Music Director

Family Life Radio (FLR) is pleased to announce Chuck Tyler as its new music director. Tyler, who previously served as FLR’s program director, will transition into the music director role effective immediately. He will work alongside current music director Bill Ronning, who is set to retire August 28.

Tyler has spent his career in radio, serving in a variety of roles from programming to hosting in major markets including Pittsburgh, Nashville, Los Angeles and Portland.

“I want to thank Chuck for his willingness to step into this new role and for his continued commitment to Family Life Radio,” said Adam Biddell, chief broadcast officer for FLR. “I am also grateful to Bill for his dedication and service as he prepares for retirement.”

During the transition, as FLR seeks a replacement for the program director position, Mike Kankelfritz, director of broadcast content, will continue to lead the ministry’s programming vision, content development and on-air strategy.
