K I N S H I P R A D I O P R O G R A M D I R E C T O R

Objective: serve the growing number of Kinship Radio listeners and advance the mission and vision of Kinship Radio by cultivating a mature, energetic, and inspiring team of individuals dedicated to producing compelling terrestrial and digital content that points to the importance of a meaningful and lasting relationship with Christ.

D U T I E S
• Reports to the Kinship Radio Executive Director
• Serves on the Kinship Radio leadership team to fulfill its mission, vision, and values
• Oversees the recruitment and development of the Kinship Radio on-air team and production teams
• Oversees the curation of the network’s content development, inclusive of the long/short form programming, music, imaging, and on-air hosts
• Oversees the network’s music and program equipment, software, and delivery systems
• Works in tandem with marketing and social media initiatives to ensure consistency of the network brand
• Assists in the oversight and execution of on-air funding education and initiatives
• Oversee compliance to FCC broadcast regulations and requirements of the public inspection files
• Routinely researches and assesses the network’s effectiveness and influence within the market
• Serves as part of the on air team as needed (not as a regular weekday host)
• Other duties as may be assigned

Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S
• A dedicated Christ-follower that agrees with and lives a life reflective of Kinship Radio’s Statement of Faith
• Bachelor’s degree in media, marketing, or business preferred
• 5-6 years of program directing experience that evidence audience growth in the market; experience in the non-profit format is a plus
• Characteristics of integrity, humility, respect
• Familiarity with the contemporary Christian music and Christian talk/teaching formats
• Strong skills and experience in organizing and inspiring groups toward completion of desired objectives
• Balanced introvert and extrovert personality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe, Photoshop, and other office software

This is a full-time salaried position of 40-45 hours per week. Kinship Radio offers a competitive salary and benefits compared to other stations in markets of similar size.
