CMB Industry Shout-out – TJ Jackson
“Shout out to TJ! You hear people commonly use the phrase, “He’s just a good dude!”, but TJ is THE MAN. TJ was one of the first industry members I connected with when I joined CMB, and I’ve thought of him as a mentor ever since. TJ is always willing to share advice, brainstorm, and share ideas with other industry members. His heart for serving his listeners, community, station, and family encourage me to do a similar role at The Light FM. His work ethic is to be commended. One thing I learned early from TJ is that an initial “no” is ok and it takes time to develop quality community partnerships. Taking the time to invest and build trust with community organizations, leaders, and businesses leads to the potential for a great partnership down the road that everyone can benefit from, no matter how long it takes. And with all that he does in his role at LIFE 88.5, he still finds ways to pour into his family, and that is the thing that encourages me the most. Kansas City has an MVP in TJ Jackson.”
