We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and is administered solely by the grace of God through our faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
CMB Principals of Belief
CMB believes that all matters of faith and conduct must be evaluated based on the Bible’s instruction to practice justice, love mercy, and model humility. It is our firm conviction that we uphold the dignity of each individual as we embrace the unchanging and longstanding principles of scriptural truth. Based on these principles, CMB holds to the following beliefs relevant to issues within today’s culture:
We believe that God immutably creates every human life in His image, and therefore is sacred. We believe every human life must be recognized, respected, and protected, from conception to natural death.
We believe God created humans in His image, intentionally and immutably male and female, each bringing unique and complementary qualities to sexuality and relationships. These two distinct but complementary genders together exclusively reflect the image and likeness of God on behalf of all humanity.
We believe God has ordained monogamous marriage to exist between one man and one woman, with absolute marital fidelity, as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society.
