Where Creativity Cannot Thrive – Momentum Minute

I am so looking forward to being at Momentum this year, meeting those who shape what we hear when we listen to our radio.

Radio talent is so undervalued and disrespected, especially since on-air personalities have the toughest job in show business. Creating original content 4-5 hours a day, 5 or 6 days a week, 50 weeks a year, with no writers to help and virtually non-stop discouragement by management and Nielsen, leaves most talent exhausted and afraid. Creativity cannot thrive in an atmosphere of fear and judgment.

Christian Radio, almost singularly in America now, tries to create emotional bonds with their listeners every day. Being able to encourage more of this and sharing ideas on better ways to achieve it has been my life’s work. I can’t wait to see you again at Momentum 2017.
