Promotion Spotlight – 88.7 The Bridge

Each year we partner with the Delaware State Fair for Christian concert night to offer a GREAT experience for our listeners. We run a 3 week contest where listeners are encouraged to visit area business and enter for an amazing prize pack. Since we are non-commercial and cannot ask folks to visit those businesses on air, we drive them to our website for a list of locations. We ask 10 – 12 businesses to participate so we can cover our listening area with enough locations for listeners to go to. The contest causes quite a buz each year.

Blessings:

  1. The station receives sponsorship money for the promotion
  2. The businesses get web promotion and LOTS of foot traffic
  3. The listener gets a VERY special and unique experience
  4. The station collects data from the MANY Entries and adds to our database
  5. More awareness is brought to Christian concert night at the state fair

The prize package includes :

  • 8 tickets (track seats) to the show (we trade with the fair)
  • 8 gate passes for admission to the fairgrounds (we trade with the fair)
  • 8 carnival ride wrist bands – unlimited rides (we purchase)
  • dinner for 8 at one of the fair food booths (we trade with the booth)
  • $100 worth of artist merchandise (we purchase)
  • A personal photographer to spend the day with the winner to capture all the memories (volunteer)

I have attached photos from our 2015 winners, the Figueroa family, who had a blast!

Wise, Weird & Welcome: Learning and Leading with the Lepers and the Locust Eaters

We’ve all read the same books about teamwork, leadership, communication, and culture that everybody reads. We’ve mastered Maxwell, studied Sanborn, Sinek, and Sun Tzu, and liberally cribbed Collins in aborted attempts to go from good to great, but…

How’s that working out for you?

What if you left St. Louis with an entirely new lens through which to view and act upon improvements in:

Let’s examine how this all connects together, but approach it from an entirely different angle. Don’t just think outside the box. Kick the box to the curb and start at zero.
