Promotion Spotlight – Life 107.1

We just wrapped up our Single Moms’ Morning Out here at Life 107.1 Des Moines. This is our second year doing it – we started small last year, partnering with one church to bless 100 single moms, but this year we expanded to three churches and 260 women. The women get to go to these churches for a free event where they get food and a short worship service, and then the churches gather volunteers to give the women facials, haircuts, manicures, and some light detail work and maintenance on their cars. We got our listeners to donate used clothes and jewelry and new cosmetics to stock each church’s “Blessings Boutique,” where the single moms are given huge shopping bags to fill, free of charge. Listeners also donated $10 gas cards so each woman gets a little help with gas money. And, of course, the best part is that there’s free childcare on site broken up by age.

We were so excited to partner with these area churches for this event and hope to see even more get involved in 2018! It’s a special event and it’s gotten a great response.

Wise, Weird & Welcome: Learning and Leading with the Lepers and the Locust Eaters

We’ve all read the same books about teamwork, leadership, communication, and culture that everybody reads. We’ve mastered Maxwell, studied Sanborn, Sinek, and Sun Tzu, and liberally cribbed Collins in aborted attempts to go from good to great, but…

How’s that working out for you?

What if you left St. Louis with an entirely new lens through which to view and act upon improvements in:

Let’s examine how this all connects together, but approach it from an entirely different angle. Don’t just think outside the box. Kick the box to the curb and start at zero.
