“Strength is for service, not status.”

Share an impactful listener story:

Kimberly bought a car in Missouri, it had a Joy FM sticker on it, (Thx Sandy) she moved to Tampa to get away from an abusive boyfriend and the place she is staying has a Joy FM billboard right outside her window. Then she ends up at Starbucks to buy a cup of coffee and someone buys it for her and tells her to listen to the Joy FM. She had been listening for about a week when she called to let us know the story. She was not a Christian but sensed something different about the station. We gave her Dare to be tickets so Michelle Tellone our evening host called her, thanked her for her message and gave her the tickets.

When she showed up in Clearwater Michelle met her at will call. Kimberley told her that she was going to leave because “everyone in the line seemed so happy and they had something she did not have.” The two ended up talking before the concert began and Kimberley said she wanted to be a Christian but she had done so many bad things. Michelle had the privilege of praying with her!

Charlotte Gambill brought an incredible word! Kimberly said she felt she had a load taken off her shoulders. She texted Michelle Sunday morning and this is what she said, “so this morning is the first day I woke up with Jesus in my heart and the first morning in years that I am waking up with excitement to begin my day! I feel I am in someone else’s mind, but it’s really my own. Knowing and believing that, I can’t wait for my first mission to honor God. I prayed real prayer this morning. I know it was real because I was crying the entire time yet I was in complete comfort. The peace I felt after was incredible. So I thank you once again.”
Michelle told her that her real life began the day she said yes to Him! Kimberly said, “I believe that with my whole heart! I could feel a difference almost instantly after I accepted Jesus. I could feel even my facial muscles more relaxed than ever before. It’s kind of strange but I am loving it!”

She is looking for a church now, she lives off Nebraska Ave in Tampa near Fowler? If you have any suggestions let me know.

Wise, Weird & Welcome: Learning and Leading with the Lepers and the Locust Eaters

We’ve all read the same books about teamwork, leadership, communication, and culture that everybody reads. We’ve mastered Maxwell, studied Sanborn, Sinek, and Sun Tzu, and liberally cribbed Collins in aborted attempts to go from good to great, but…

How’s that working out for you?

What if you left St. Louis with an entirely new lens through which to view and act upon improvements in:

Let’s examine how this all connects together, but approach it from an entirely different angle. Don’t just think outside the box. Kick the box to the curb and start at zero.
