We’re fresh off the virtual November Momentum Summits, and one thing is for sure – the 2020 virtual Summits gave more people in our industry the opportunity to connect in the middle of this unprecedented year. Both the September and now the November Summits broke the record for our highest attended Summits to date!

As we look to 2021, we continue to pray over our events, and have decided that it is in the best interest of our members to continue our Momentum Summits again virtually. It’s been evident that the virtual Momentum Summits can make an impact, so we’re excited to see what God has for you and your station through them in the year ahead.

The four 1-day virtual Summits will be spread throughout the year:

February 19 – Leadership Momentum Summit
April 23 – Revenue Momentum Summit
August 20 – Community Engagement & Outreach Momentum Summit
October 22 – Music & Programming Momentum Summit

While we are disappointed that we won’t be meeting together in person for the Summits, we are excited to see you at Momentum 2021 at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando™ on June 2-4. Please know we will continue to monitor the Covid situation and governmental guidelines for the state of Florida.

We cannot wait to get together and connect in person and virtually in 2021!

The September Summits were on point! I took away some practical knowledge I can plug and play right NOW, plus some deeply challenging info that might change our stations for the better for years to come.

There’s no doubt making the shift from in-person to virtual was a heavy lift, but Michelle and the entire CMB team made it seamless. The breakout sessions were excellent peer-to-peer conversation.  Beyond the insight we were gaining from each other – it felt good to see everyone smile and hear them laugh.  If 2020 has taught us anything – it’s to appreciate every moment of connection – even if it’s virtually. Wonderful work, CMB!

Congratulations to CMB! From the interactive platform they used to the quality of information shared, the CMB Virtual Summits were a success. True to form – the CMB leadership team superseded our expectation as the title sponsor for these events. We are truly grateful for the partnership!

Wise, Weird & Welcome: Learning and Leading with the Lepers and the Locust Eaters

We’ve all read the same books about teamwork, leadership, communication, and culture that everybody reads. We’ve mastered Maxwell, studied Sanborn, Sinek, and Sun Tzu, and liberally cribbed Collins in aborted attempts to go from good to great, but…

How’s that working out for you?

What if you left St. Louis with an entirely new lens through which to view and act upon improvements in:

Let’s examine how this all connects together, but approach it from an entirely different angle. Don’t just think outside the box. Kick the box to the curb and start at zero.
