About Us:
Strong Tower Christian Media is a faith based non-profit organization based in Xenia, Ohio. Our mission
is to use multiple media platforms to reach more hearts with deeper impact by sharing the love of Jesus
through Biblical teaching, encouraging music, and digital content. We are seeking a passionate and
creative Social Media Manager to spearhead our social media efforts.
Position Overview:
As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive
social media strategy that aligns with our mission and values. You will be responsible for creating
content for multiple channels across three distinct brands. You will work with our on-air talent to create
meaningful and encouraging content and grow our audience across various social media platforms. This
role reports to the Digital Director and offers flexibility with remote, hybrid, or in-office work options.
Key Responsibilities:
• Social Media Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage a social media strategy that reflects the
mission of Strong Tower Christian Media, resonates with our target audiences, and results in
growth.
• Content Creation: Produce, curate, and schedule high-quality, engaging content across all social
media platforms (primarily Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube).
• Audience Engagement: Monitor, respond to, and engage with our audience, fostering a positive
online community and deepening listener relationships.
• Collaboration: Work closely with on-air talent to guide them in creating and posting content that
aligns with their brand and the overall goals of the stations.
• Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, using insights to
optimize content and strategy to obtain growth.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to
keep our content fresh and relevant.
• Support the radio station’s digital marketing efforts, including email marketing and online
promotions, as needed.
• Attend occasional station events and promotions to capture live content for social media
sharing.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content maintains a consistent voice, style, and
branding that aligns with Strong Tower Christian Media’s values.
• Stay Creative: Seek ways to rise above the noise on digital platforms and offer real hope to our
communities.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: 2-5 years in social media management, preferably within the media or non-profit
industries.
• Creativity: Strong creative skills with an eye for compelling content and storytelling.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt
tone and style to different platforms and audiences.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with social media management tools, graphic design software
(e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), and a mastery of the distinctions and best-practices for all
major social media platforms.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously and meet deadlines while working with other creatives.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, particularly
in coordinating with on-air talent.
