General Manager
Heartland Christian Broadcasters, Inc. is accepting applications for a General Manager for its FM radio stations in Northern Minnesota.
You must be a born-again believer with great radio skills and a broad knowledge of radio station operations. This position requires that you develop and communicate a strong vision for the future of our ministry.
As General Manager you are
Responsible for FCC, IRS and other relevant agencies rules compliance.
Accountable to our Board of Directors.
Able to foster an enjoyable and fulfilling Christian work environment.
Responsible for the overall direction and operation of the ministry.
Experienced in non-commercial Christian radio.
Able to manage people with Christ-like servant leadership.
Prepared to develop and present underwriting opportunities to area business.
Responsible for planning and participating in Sharathon and other fundraising events.
Excited to strengthen relationships with listeners and supporters.
Able to compose monthly receipt letters and newsletter articles.
Ready to create and live by an annual budget anticipating opportunities and needs.
Prepared to make regular reports to our Board of Directors.
Willing to build relationships and partner with area ministries.
Available to provide compelling on-air programming as needed.
Ready to work with program staff to anticipate and respond to needs.
Heartland Christian Broadcasters, Inc. is an independent non-denominational Christian radio ministry. For over 40 years we have operated our stations as non-commercial and listener supported.
We program our 100 kW “Psalm FM” with a unique mix of contemporary Praise and Worship music and talk programming. Our 1.5 kW “Bridge FM” programs full time Christian talk and teaching.
