BRIGHT-FM and Brighter Media Group, Baltimore (Peter & John Ministries) is currently hiring a Social & Digital Content Manager.

We’re looking for a creative, energetic content creator to connect, inspire, and share the love of Christ with our social and digital media audiences! Your mission? Grow our reach, engage new fans, and create content that resonates with our audience, while providing first-time experiences for those unfamiliar with us. You’ll interact with our social community, fostering positive, timely connections, because people are our priority.

Responsibilities

  • Ideate, write, create (either solo or part of a team), and publish engaging video, picture, written, and/or graphic content for Brighter Media Group websites, newsletters, texts, and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Support the Digital Director in an operations role for all aspects of BMG’s digital experience, including, but not limited to building web pages for concerts, events, contests, and fundraisers.
  • Engage with social media followers in a spiritually mature, positive, and timely manner.
  • Stay up to date, suggest, and implement new features to develop brand awareness, new platforms, new trends, and more.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Director to set KPIs for performance goals.
  • Understand social media marketing and coordinate social media marketing campaigns that align with company KPIs.
  • Ensure all content on social and digital platforms is consistent with BRIGHT-FM and Brighter Media Group brands in voice and visual identity
    Collaborate with internal constituents such as Programming, Cross Department, Sales, Creative Services, and Donor Relations.

Requirements

  • You must be a spiritually mature follower of Jesus Christ who is consistently growing in your relationship with the Lord and agree to our Mission Statement and Core Values
  • 3+ years in social media marketing and management with proven results in developing strategies native to each social media channel with measurable ROI
  • Must have a deep knowledge of social media best practices, policies, algorithm, tools, demographics, etc.
  • Proficient in using work and social management tools (Meta and Monday.com are a plus)
  • Highly creative and responsive – you can see and hear an opportunity you know will be perfect to share, and you are always ready with your phone to capture.
  • Have a keen, creative eye and can shoot and quickly edit aesthetically pleasing short form video and pictures for social media that reflect the brand’s creative standards
  • Be available on weekends to cover live events, concerts, and in-studio artist visits
  • Excellent written communication and ability to write as the voice of the brand, not yourself
  • Excellent customer service skills for engaging directly with social media followers
  • Proficient in spreadsheet software to manage and maintain social media analytics
  • Knowledge of SEO, keywords, and Google Analytics
