Contemporary Christian media ministry WayFM has announced a new role for it’s longtime content leader, and two corresponding staffing changes that were effective yesterday.
Faron Dice is transitioning from Chief Content Officer to Vice-President of Ministry for Way Media. He is passing on his oversight of on-air and digital content to focus solely on outreach initiatives that include spiritual care through the ministry’s staff pastors, the growing WayFM Prayer Wall and free Bible distribution program, the 24/7 “Chat with a Coach” feature through “Groundwire” and serving all key ministry partnerships. Dice will continue to be based at the Way Media home office in Colorado Springs.
Way Media COO Tim Dukes shared, “Faron is the architect of these efforts over his 18 years with WayFM . Having him specialize on them moving forward is crucial to achieving our aggressive ministry goals over the next decade, which include praying with 1,000,000 people per year by 2030.”
Ron Harrell joins Way Media as Vice-President of Brand and Content, based at it’s network operations center in Nashville, and assumes leadership over on-air, digital, and marketing initiatives. He is a 30+ year radio veteran having worked for CBS, Infinity, Cumulus, and Hubbard at leading stations in Denver, Detroit, Dallas, and most recently Seattle where he was the Program Director of KRWM, a mainstream AC station.
In conjunction with these two new appointments, WayFM Program Director Todd Stach is exiting the organization after three and a half years.
Todd Stach tells CMB, “I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve and for the relationships that were made during my time at WayFM. I wonder what God has for me next? I’m open to leadership, programming and on-air opportunities. If you want to reach out please e-mail me at todd.stach1@gmail.com or on LinkedIn.”
